What's new in 2026

We have been busy since we wrapped up our 2025 World Championship event in December. We have changed up a few things for 2026, and we're very excited to show them to you!

8 NHRL Open events

We will be running 8 NHRL Opens, usually on the first Saturday of each month. We are planning something special for the July Open. We will announce more details when we have them.

3 NHRL Pro Tour events

New this year, we will have 3 special Pro Tour events, where the best of the best will compete under our brightest lights! Our first Pro Tour event will be on May 16 at the House of Havoc in Norwalk, CT. We will invite the top 8 bots of each weight class from our February, March, and April events. Tickets will be available soon.

1 NHRL Pro World Championship

Our Pro World Championships will be on December 5, featuring the best bots from our NHRL Open and Pro Tour events.

Trialing a new 10 am event start time

Our February 7 NHRL Open will begin at 10 am, one hour later than our usual start time.

If this trial works, we may keep it for our later events.

New rules for more exciting fights

We’ve overhauled our rulebook and judging criteria to guarantee more fun and thrilling fights. You’ll see more effective weapons, more action, and more knockouts. See our full rulebook here.
